LTTA2 - Training for teachers and students
During 1st until 3rd of February 2023, Viksjöforsbaletten hosted the second training activity in Sweden. In this training the participants were two teachers and five students aged 10 - 12 years old from each participant country (Cyprus, Greece and Sweden). The goal of this training was first to bring together a focus group from the partner countries that contribute to the development of project results 2 and 3. During this training teachers had the opportunity to directly work with music and dance experts and all bring together their expertise in the implementation of the suggested activities. Further, teachers had the opportunity to directly apply the suggested activities in a real classroom environment and give the direct feedback to the trainers from participant organizations. Further, all students had the opportunity to work together and develop intercultural understanding. Through this collaboration of the students it's been proved that teaching math through music and movement can remove language barriers and also include all students in learning procedures.
