E1 - Presenting m2-cm and establishing local communities of teachers in Sweden

Viksjöforsbaletten organized a final local multiplier event addressed to school staff, mostly teachers, in Ovanåker municipality.

The project coordinator Viksjöforsbaletten was presented by Manager Helena Ehrstrand, vice chairman Katarzyna Pawlak, teacher Viktoria Forsblom, dancers Elias Bäckebjörk and Torill Kolsrud and a group of youth dancers. The event hosted 72 persons, some of which have been included in m2-cm piloting, conference and project dissemination in past two years.

The introduction was an overlook of final m2-cm project products: the teachers’ guide,  the repository of activities and other useful material for teachers, the platform for distance education and educational resources to be found online. Theoretical presentation was interspersed with joyful and creative elements of creative movements in order to share how easy learning with cultural expressions can be. Attendees joined discussions about lessons learned, good practices, and project outcomes. It was indeed a very enthusiastic audience and so all questions and dialogues came out with an interactive expression.

All participants signed an attendance sheet.

The grand finale was sing along with movements, the song that children in Vik-sjö-fors created in the first project year and that has become viral locally and even beyond.
